Team of 2 combines the expertise of a climbing coach and a fitness trainer to maximize an athlete’s technical, mental, and physical capabilities for rock climbing and mountaineering.
How Does Training with Team of 2 Work?
Athletes work with Justen Sjong, the climbing coach, and Kris Peters, the trainer. The coach and trainer have very different jobs, but work together to provide personalized and well-rounded training programs. As a team, they help athletes increase their current training intensity levels and performance.
Team of 2 provides:
- A roadmap for how to be the best athlete you can be, whether you’re new to the sport or an advanced climber.
- Expertise in training climbers in every genre, including bouldering, sport, traditional, mixed, ice, and alpine climbing.
- A variety of different kinds of sessions, from private coaching or training sessions to adrenaline-filled group training.
- Encouragement to help you gain confidence in your abilities and turn challenges into positive experiences.
- Personal feedback, digital and verbal, on your climbing to help you achieve your goals.
